I am a graduate of Perry Normal School of Boston (now Curry College) I worked at Mrs. Murray's Nursery School on Federal Street and when Mrs. Murray retired in June of '78,
I was fortunate to be able to purchase the school. I ran the school initially on Federal Street in Newburyport, MA for 23 years, before moving it to its present location in Hope Church on Hale Street in 2001. I have lived in Newburyport, Massachusetts all my life. My husband Gerard and I have 3 children; the youngest one, Chris, joining me in 1978 - as a student - and I as the teacher. His son Jason graduated in 2009. Seven out of the ten grandchildren in our family are now alumni - with 3 to go.
A teacher is all I ever wanted to be and I love it!
