“What all good teachers have in common, however, is that they set high standards for their students and do not settle for anything less.” —Marva Collins
I honestly cannot believe we have five weeks left of school. Where did the time go. I know, it was instilling the love of learning in your children. The quote above is what MMNS is all about. We feel no other preschool program in this area is quite like ours. What makes us unique: Our Teachers, Our Students, and Our Families! We set high standards for our students and every year they live up to them. At the beginning of the year, I hear “how am I going to get this class to work together, follow the routines and learn” and at the end of school, I look in every classroom and I am amazed at what a great job the teachers have done. Their students are laughing, cooperating, having fun and are genuinely excited to be learning new things. Every year, I say to hesitate parents, drop your child off, say goodbye, leave as quickly as possible and let the teachers work their magic. The Magic of Teaching, our teachers do it so well!! Kudos to Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Mirra, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Bashaw, Mrs. Forrest, Mrs. Ritter, Mrs. Adams, Miss Ashley as well as our substitutes, Mrs. Flansbury and Mrs. Tingley!
To our wonderful families, thank you for choosing MMNS for your precious children.
Honey Pot Club

Spencer Peirce Little Farm
Even in chilly weather, Arlene and her crew are the best. Every year, they look forward to starting off their Spring Season with us. We hope you enjoyed learning about Nellie the Cow, feeding the animals and the Tractor ride around the Farm.
Ladder the Fin Back Whale
Nikki and Angela from the Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation did an excellent job teaching our PreK students about Whales. They saw Ladder inflate then learned about his outside features and then were able to go inside of him. How cool is that! The best part for me was after the presentation, Nikki and Angela let me know that they were so impressed with our students. They said they asked questions and retained information better than some first and second graders. Be Proud!!
Derby Day
How cute was that! I don’t know who was more excited about it, the students, or the teachers. They played games, watched a previous derby or a book on Horse racing, had races, took pictures and Mrs. Forrest and Mrs. Ritter were able to sneak in a pinch of Cinco de Mayo. While we couldn’t serve Mint Juleps, a special thank you is being sent to Angela Gavin (Emmy and Kailey’s mom) who made the horse cookies. They were colorful and yummy!!

At the end of the show, the classes will exit the gym during the last song. At that time, please join them in the lobby of the church for class pictures.
Cast Party
Our singers deserve a Cast Party. Your children will be dismissed to you after class pictures. At that time, you are welcome to join us in the café for a snack with their classmates, teachers, and families.
If you would like to bring* a treat for our “cast party”, a sign-up genius party list will be emailed soon. When you sign up, please put what you will be bringing in the comment section. Examples of finger foods: brownie bites, small cups of goldfish, veggies and dip, cut up fruit, cheese and crackers, cookies etc. Please remember NO PEANUTS, PEANUT BUTTER, or TREE NUT PRODUCTS.
