Maple Crest Farm Field Trip
What an awesome couple of days at Maple Crest Farm.! We had beautiful fall weather and plenty of things to do. Farmer John showed us how to shear a Christmas Tree and then we got to plant one, we decorated wooden pumpkins (made by his son), we found gourds and lots of fall items. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Loved seeing all our families spending the morning together. Lots of smiles!!
‘The Christmas tree seedlings planted this year will not be ready until after 2031 at the earliest, which proves that, at my age, I am an optimist!” – Farmer John
Thank You!
Thank you to all who participated in our first Birthday Box and Food Drive. Mrs. Gray had fun planning our portion of the event with her father Don Carey who is a long-time member of the Lion’s Club. Thanks to you 14 Birthday boxes plus much needed food donations were collected.
Taken from Mrs. Gray’s FB post:
“Thank you for the awesome gift bags and cakes. I’m sure this will put a smile on someone’s face who would otherwise not have a birthday cake” -Sue Coppinger-Chairperson of the First Parish Food Bank.
